What Home Means to Me

My home is safe, fun, and it smells great. My home is a part of me. I feel safe when I’m with my family. I’m so thankful for the roof over my head. There’s never going to be a safer place than my home. The reason why my home is so safe isn’t just because it’s stable, it’s because it’s filled with family, joy, laughter, and happiness. My family makes me feel safe; they protect me with their love. No matter where I am, I know I am going back to my safe home. My home is fun because I have many things to do in the summer, the winter, the fall and the spring. Playing board games with everyone makes me smile and fills me with joy. It’s always great playing video games with my sisters. I always have the most fun with my family. My dad’s favorite game is Yahtzee, we always play together. I love playing cards with everyone. My mom likes Crazy Eight; she’s also really good at it. My sisters like the Game of Life, but my favourite is Dabble. My home is fun. My home always smells like a fancy restaurant. My parents are amazing cooks; their specialty is stew, spaghetti, salads, soup and steak. However, they are really talented bakers, too. Their cakes and cookies and basically any sweet are fantabulous. Whenever they're baking with the sliding kitchen doors open, I always smell the stupendous food that I will be served and my mouth waters. My home is a part of me. It’s a safe place where I live, laugh, eat and love.
