What Home Means to Me

When I think of home I think of a warm and cozy house. A house is a structure, but a home is a place where you feel safe and comforted by your family. It is when you come home from school and see your family or wake up and give your brother a big hug. Home means family, friends, pets and fresh water. Home means a family that loves you. Home is where you are loved and cared for. Home is peaceful. That is why I write this paragraph. Because I want other kids and other families to have the feeling of home. Some families don’t have well-built structures, or some families might not even have a house. They might be old and full of mold, or maybe it might not be heated, or have bad food. They might not feel safe in their house and that’s not right. They deserve a safe and clean, cozy house. I hope that the people out there with no house raise the right amount of money to have a safe home.
