The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home My home is where I feel safe. My home is where I feel loved by my family members. My home is where there are charming people who cheer me up when needed. I feel safe in my home. I don’t have to worry about anyone hurting me or my family. I feel safe in my home because I have two families protecting me at all times: my mom's side and my dad's side. My home is a place where I feel loved by my pets and my mom, dad, sister and brother. I love them all because they make me so happy. I don’t know what I would do without them. I wouldn’t have accomplished many of the things I have until now. When I was seven, I didn’t want to play sports, but my parents encouraged me to play, so I chose soccer and today I’m really great at it. When I come home my dog, Delta, greets me at the door with a jump or he wakes me up in my bed by licking my face. I feel loved in my home. Home is where I go when I need cheering up. I walk into my cozy home to my loving family: people that love me so much and I love them so much as well. Sometimes when I walk home from school and I had a bad day at school they always cheer me up and give me a cozy hug. My home is where I feel like I can do stuff and not be scared to do things. My home is where I feel encouraged to do things and not sit around all day. And lastly my home is where I can walk into a group of people that love me.
