The Meaning of Home

Home is my cat. Home is love. Home is safe. Home is my cat. When my fat, grey cat jumps on my round orange chair, and falls asleep, she starts purring. Pousha always brings me joy when I’m stressed or sad. She never lets me down like other people do. I like that she can’t speak, that way she can’t annoy me. She is always with me, she is so cute and precious, she is my whole world. It’s so delightful to be around her. It's just Pousha and me in a peaceful and quiet place, like my room and all I can hear is her purring. Home is full of beauty and love. I’m just surrounded by people I love and who don’t judge me by what I do. It’s a very peaceful and comfy place to be. It’s warm and cozy in my soft bed, long black couch and bean bag chairs. When I sit down on the couch to watch TV with my family, a lovely feeling runs down my body, like snowflakes falling gently from the light blue sky. After a long, boring day I finally get to watch TV and get comfortable on my couch. Home is safe because there are sturdy roofs and walls all around me, plus my loving family members are with me, which makes me feel even more safe than before. When I’m at home, I realize how lucky I am to have a roof over my head. Some people don’t even have one, and I feel really bad. I am really thankful for the home I have, I could never ask for a “better” one. I want to stay in my home forever.
