What does home mean to me?

Home, to me, means more than just a place to sleep and eat. Home is my center or the sun in my solar system. Everything else orbits around it, like sports, friends, vacation, shopping, etc. they are all part of my life, but home, that is where the most important people are and where the most important moments happen. Home is where all the best memories are made with the most important people in my life, my mom, my dad and my brother. Memories like Christmas with my family sitting around the Christmas tree. It is also where all my favorite things are like my teddies and my sketch book. Home is where I learned to walk and talk. Home will influence my childhood, my future and will help me make the right choices in life because of the safe and loving home I live in. Home is my center, my childhood and future but it is also my safe place. It is the place I want to be when I'm sad or feel unsafe. It has the bed I want to sink into at the end of a long day and the people I want to be with everyday. Home is the place where I can just be me!
