Aren’t We Lucky?

What exactly is a home? Is it the walls and roof I've been living under my whole life? A place to simply just live my life in? Or is it more..? Home is why we have a smile on our face because home is so much more than some people think it is. A home is not just a simple structure built to live in. It's not somewhere to eat and sleep, and repeat an everyday life. Some people believe that a home is just a structure with four walls and a roof, when deep down, it really isn't. That would just be the definition of a house. Even when all of those features can be associated with what a home is, it's not quite what a home means exactly. Home is a place where not only one feels comfortable, but a place they look forward to going every day. A home is full of memories, happiness, forgiveness.. . A home is not built by bricks, concrete or wood, but with a strong bond and connection you share with your family. Your home could travel around the world, yet it always stays with you, and the people you share it with, because as people say; “Home is where the heart is' '. Now a home can possibly be sad. It's true, but at the end of the day, it’s all forgiven. It can get loud, and be quiet. Either way, what we have is special. We are privileged for the home that we have. Some people don’t have the opportunity to have a home like you and me. Those people deserve good memories, and comfort, you most likely won't find on the streets. Home is special and valued to the highest point. Cherish it. One day it could possibly be gone.
