Meaning of Home

To me home means a place where you're comfortable with family. A roof over your head to protect you from storms. A place to warm you up when you get cold. A place where you can sleep peacefully. In my house I live with my mom named Crystal, my dad named Brian, My brother named Liam, and my dog named Rose. At home I feel comfortable and safe. At home I have company. Some people unfortunately don’t have a home. Picture if you were a kid or an adult how would you feel without a home. You wouldn't feel safe would you? To me home also means my dog, my dog is a big part of my home and she keeps my family company. Each morning She waits by the door for me to wake up because I give her a treat. Each morning she really likes them. My dog loves the snow so much she plays in it, she runs in it and she eats the snow. Also if we throw a snowball in the air she jumps up and grabs it. I think she likes winter most out of all seasons. At Home you also should have your own room so when times that you want to be alone you can just walk in close the door and maybe meditate or listen to music or even watch netflix. After school I like to do whatever homework I got, call a friend, work out while listening to music and then go outside to hangout with my friends. Every once in a while I will change it up, like maybe going to a friend's house after school or playing video games instead of calling a friend. What do you like to do when you get home? Every day I try to go outside for a while. I usually hangout with Ben, Mason and Noah. Mason I hangout with almost every day and we do random stuff. Ben I always play basketball and soccer with. Noah is only home one week out of two weeks and we haven't seen him for a while. I have recently just been hanging out with mason. Mason isn’t my neighbor but he lives really close to me and we have known each other for a long time. Ben lives just up my road. We just recently started playing basketball with him and by recently I mean a couple of months ago. With Noah he moved near us like a couple years ago. However, we usually play with him in the snow or go inside his house to play nintendo switches sometimes. Home also includes different traditional foods like maybe each week you eat pizza. Well for me one of my traditional foods is gozleme. Gozleme has a tortilla wrap and it has burger, feta cheese, onion and sometimes pepper. It’s one of my favourite foods and we have it once a week. We also have salad with so many of our meals. We either have southwest salad, ranch salad, caesar salad and garden salad. Luckily I like it. If not then I have no clue what we would have with meals. Inside my house I usually read books like Harry Potter, Wings of Fire, etc. In my house I usually work out. When I work out I like to listen to music but I usually like to listen to music that is like hip hop or melodic music because those are my favourite genres of music. Also when I work out I drink electrolytes and a protein shake but the protein shake tastes bad it usually makes me gag alot. In my house I like to clean my room and listen to music Because if I just listen to music and not do anything sometimes it’s boring. So I listen to music and do my chores at the same time. Just to get them done. In my home I have family. My mom helps me out with a lot of things. She helps me cook and she teaches me stuff like how to draw certain things or how to cook something that I want to learn to cook. My dad does a lot of stuff with me like he lets me come for walks with him and my dog, he takes me to the grocery store with him and he teaches me the proper forms for different workouts. My brother hangs out with me alot. We might build something with lego, we might play a video game or he might play football with me. This is my family and I wouldn't trade the world for them.
