What A Home Means To Me

A house is a place, but a home is where I belong, I spend time with my family, and friends all day long. My home may not be a home to others, But it's the people who make me feel loved and never alone. ─────────────── I love and I cry, Try as I might, Trust is earned not given, even to the ones closest to me, I doubt from time to time. ─────────────── Sometimes I feel 4 walls closing in on me, All my emotions block from the outside, Trying to find a way out but not being able to, But at least I know whenever I need guidance it's right there in front of me. ─────────────── A house turns into a home, once it’s filled with joy and laughter, But no home is a home without pain and suffering, It might be an everyday thing but, My home is still the place where I belong, Even though it's where I go through the most pain day after day. ─────────────── Thoughts flood through my brain everyday like a hurricane in my head, But at the end of the day, A home can be anywhere as long as it's where my loved ones are.
