What Home Means to Me

What home means to me, home is a place where I am not judged by the colour of my skin, or who I like. Home is where you always have fun, you might fight a little but you always figure it out. Home is somewhere where you laugh, have fun and love everyone around you. Home should never be something where you don't feel safe, you should always feel safe at home. If you don't feel safe and don't feel loved I believe you're not at home. Home is where the people you trust most are, the people you love the most are. If you don't have a home that doesn't mean you can't be loved or have trust in others, if you have trust in others one day something might happen. Even if you don't live under a roof you will always have home, as long as you have people who love you and people who will help you when you need help you have a home. When you love people and you get love back you have a home. To have a home you don't always need to have a roof over your head all you need is the people around you. When you are happy and having fun your at home. You can still feel sad or unhappy from time to time when you at home, but home will always be where you feel the best of yourself. Home can be any way it can be in Alberta it can be halfway across the world or it can be in space, but no matter where you are as long as you feel safe, feel loved, feel like you can trust other people your at home. That's what home means to me.
