The Meaning of Home

What is a house? A house is where my family lives. It has a roof, doors, windows, and rooms. It can be made of concrete, wood, glass or steel. How about a home? A home is made up of a family like mine. We have love and care and support for each other. My home is a safe place. My parents are in it. They love and protect me and my brother. We have a house which we turned into a home by making it a beautiful and safe place to live in for the whole family. We clean, beautify, and fix it when it's broken. We eat, sleep, play and watch movies together in our house. My brother and I help our parents with chores. Sometimes we cry, get sick and get tired too in our house, but my family makes everything better! This is how we make our house our home. Every house can be a home if we put love into it and make our family live happily and safely with each other. I can say that my house is my perfect home for me and my family!
