Thinking Of Home

Thinking of my home makes me think of gnomes Gnomes on the grass where my family roams A house is a shelter But a home is one to remember I walk in the streets, people wet and depressed Me, being refreshed feeling wet, but forget I lay in my bed all cozy and warm Feel my cheeks, rosy and firm Reading my new book, oh what fun Thinking of those who don’t have more than one All warm with my family under a roof With walls and heat and nothing to prove A home has character, and none are the same A picture of a loving family in a picture frame I don’t have fame, but my house still shines Throughout all of them, mine has a beautiful design My home makes me feel safe We sit at the dinner table and my family says grace We are so thankful to have a home cooked meal Looks so delicious, this is the real deal The meaning of home has grown to me I know what it means, I know I’ll care Wherever I am, wherever I’ll be Thinking of home will always come to me A house is built knowing someone will live there I am aware that people don’t really care Never compare your house to another Yours is yours and no other
