What Home Means to Me

What a home means to me. Home to me means a roof that you can stand under but not just a roof to keep you dry. Somewhere where you belong and feel like you can stay there. A home is where you make friendships and learn new things that you never learned before. It's where you don't hear the sounds of cars around you or people talking in the city. It's where you can go to sleep calmly and feel good about yourself. It's where you can eat food You like and be appreciated. It's where you can make new memories and renew books that You've never read before. I wrote this essay not because I might win an iPad. I just want to help someone get a new home so that they may feel what I feel.
