Meaning of Home Essay

My name is Olivia and I love my home. A home is a place you love to live in, a house is just somewhere you live. A home is somewhere you feel comfortable, a house is just a place. What does home mean to you? Home means family, fun and holidays to me. Home means family to me. When I walk in my friends house and see their parents, I don’t feel at home, but when I walk in my house and see my mom and dad standing there I feel very at home. My family and I spend a lot of time together, we play board games together, we wrestle, we watch movies together, and lots more. To me home is also fun. It makes me feel at home because I love to play. If I go to someone else's house and play with their toys, I don’t feel at home because I know they're not my toys. At home I love to go out on the boat with my family, and just have a fun time, we water ski, tube surf and lots more fun stuff. Lastly, home means holidays to me, it brings great memories and joy to me on holidays. For example, Christmas., Christmas is a great time to be with family and to bring great joy to others.
