What home means to me

The word home means more than a building with four walls and a roof. If you went and asked ten people all in different cultures what the word home meant to them they would all have a different answer. But what is the same in all cultures is that the word home is not just the house you live in. Some say a word is just a word until you give it a meaning, I do agree with that but sometimes a word has more of an impact on you if it's written on paper. The four walls and roof that you live in is called your house, it's where you shower, sleep and eat but your home can be whatever you want it to be. The image of home in my head is my family and friends all on a field on a beautiful evening with the sun going down giving the grass a more rosey colour. We would be eating snacks and watching the sun slowly go down over the horizon. So even though there's probably hundreds of essays and you're reading this one right now, just sit down for a minute and think about what does home mean to you.
