House and Home

A house is a building for human habitation, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people. A house is just a structure with four walls and roof that people live in to keep shelter, nothing more nothing less. A home is a word for a space when it is a place you want to stay. Even though the word home is just a word and a house is a building the word home means a lot more. Home means a nice place where you feel safe and comfortable, not just a place for shelter or a temporary apartment. Home means a lot more than a house. It means a place you like, and you think is a good place to get out all your feelings. Your definition of a home might not be the same definition other people think. Other people's thoughts of a home will be different from yours and that's okay. Just because another person has a different opinion about a home doesn't mean yours is bad, nobody's opinions on homes are bad. Some people don't have houses to call home, that's why I made this. I have never experienced not having a home so I don't know what it feels like. But I'm guessing that it feels pretty bad. I hope that Habitat for Humanity thrives and everyone gets a nice safe place to call home.
