What a Home Means to Me

What is a home? Home is a place where you feel comfortable, relaxed and safe. Everything in your home is special to someone. Home is also a place where you make many, many memories. It isn’t very comfortable when you're living in a corner full of rats. Bonfires, making snow forts and growing a garden are all good memories of my home. Home is a place where you can invite your friends over and hangout, have fun, and play games. I’ve had many memories with my friends. You can invite your friends to the place you call your own. One of my favorite memories I have are birthday parties. A home is uniquely designed to fit your liking. Think of a hotel. They’re all the same. A home on the other hand is unlike any other. Even if it isn’t the way you want it, you can make it the way you want it to be. It can be tall or short, wide or skinny. In the country or in the city. A home is a place where you can be yourself. You don’t need to worry about what others think of you. You can do whatever you want to do. Especially if you live in the country. You have lots of privacy. Which is why I love living in the country. Home is a place where you can have pets and they can spend time with you. We got a dog and a lot of cats. Pets are very loveable. You can have a cat, dog, hamster, guinea pig and a lot more. You can even get a pet house in your living room or kitchen. This is why I think a home is better than a hotel or apartment. Everybody deserves a home, not only the people that are able to purchase one.
