What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where you belong. For me it is a safe place where I share warm spaces with family and friends. We go in and out the doors often like bees come in and out of a beehive. I always know we have a home to come back to. Sometimes, it’s like a beehive because we store food there and always come home to help at meal times. At meal times, we sit around the table and simply talk to each other about life. I love hearing and thinking about other opinions, even if I don't always understand and agree. This reminds me of bees buzzing. I am very thankful for my home where we can talk about our feelings. We also practice lots of team work by helping each other with jobs such as cleaning my room and helping to clean up the dinner table, just like bees work together. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family when they come to visit. The best memories in my life have happened in my home. One thing I think a home needs is love, warmth and a lot of laughter. Home is also like an organized place, it makes you feel tidy, clean and very happy. My wish is that everyone in the world could have a sweet, warm and happy home. Bees make honey and honey is sweet. When I grow up I want to have a sweet, warm and happy home for my children just like my mom and dad made for me.
