The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a place where you feel safe. It’s a place to feel happy and a place to feel warm and calm. A home is where cannonball records are broken in the pool. Our laundry room walls show how tall we can get in a year. Home is where we have birthday parties in our living room and family feasts in the dining room. I bake in the kitchen with my mom. We have friends for sleepovers in my bedroom. Fun movie nights and watching hockey games with my family happen in my living room. Playing video games on the couch. The family makes the home feel homey.
