The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where memories are made and board games are played. Home is a place to get together with family. Home is where backyard barbecues happen. A home is a place that has a roof over your head. A home is a place that smells like cookies. Home is where you play with lego, watch movies and, sometimes, have a good night’s sleep. A home is a place for happiness and silliness and for being creative. A home is a place for water balloon fights in the summer. A home is for backyard ice rinks. Home is for making snowmen. A home is for pool parties, birthday parties, Christmas parties and Thanksgiving parties. A home is where I play fortnight. Home is where I play hockey and where I play knee hockey with my dad and sometimes my sister. Home is for late-night snacking. Home is for playing with pets.
