Meaning of Home

To me, home is safe. Home is cozy. Home is where your story starts. Picture a little kid, scared in the dark. Part of him knows that he is safe, but a different part of him thinks he is in danger. So he can remind himself that he is safe. This has happened to me many times, so I remind myself, I am safe. Home is like a beehive. To bees, their home is big. But to us, it’s small. To us, our homes are either big or small. But to bees, our homes are just huge. You know how bees go into swarms and when they do it, they’re working together. That's kind of like when you're at home and you work together on things. That’s just like the bees! So just think about it, us and little bees are kind of similar even though to us they're small but to them we’re big. Home is where your family is. When I enter my home, I love the smell of my mom's cooking, the laughter of my sister watching a sitcom on tv or my dad's excitement watching the Raptors game. Just remember, home isn’t just a place, it's also life.
