Home, a Simple Word With an Important Meaning.

Home. Such a small, four-letter word, that you normally don't think twice of. When you think of a house, you probably think "A place where someone lives." Nothing more, just bricks and wood. But a home means so much more. A home is where you make memories. A home is where you learn to walk and talk and where you cry and laugh. A home is where you study for a math test or invite a friend over. A home is where you can be yourself. Nobody to judge you, to laugh at you, to make fun of you. Home is where you can just be you. A home is where you can be happy, sad, angry, scared, anything. A home, a place to rest after a tiring game of hockey, or to prepare for the next soccer game. A place where you can prank your sister or brother or beat them in a game of uno. A home, a casita, a maison, tsev, huis, no matter what you call it, is a place where you can be happy. I'm grateful to have a home, sweet home. Unfortunately, some people don't have houses, so let's help them by donating to Habitat for Humanity so we can help them make some new memories!
