More than a House

The meaning of home to me is that it is more than a house. A house is just a building but a home is where you live. You feel safer in a home because you are not alone. Your parents are there. Your siblings are there. The people you love are there. The people who love you are there. If you happen to live alone, it can still be home because you can make it yours. For example, you can decorate it the way you like. A home is full of your favourite things. Another reason a home is more than a house is that even on a bad day you are welcome there. I am glad I live in a home and not in a house.
