The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home: Home is where my family is, home is where I feel comfortable, home is where I feel loved and cared for, home is where I never want to run away, home is where I create my biggest ideas, home is where I dream big things. When I get home from school I step into my home and if it's a cold winter day or a very hot summer it's so refreshing to walk into my home where I know it's safe no matter what happens I know my family will be with me and my home will always protect me. If I ever move to a different house, I know I’ll feel comfortable because I have my family with me, our hearts can be so big and if you don’t like where you're living just take a moment to open your heart and then maybe you’ll see what the meaning of home means to you. When I think of home I get a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart, my dreams and my ideas collide into one and that’s what home means to me. A house is a place where you can live, a house is where you eat, sleep, drink and have shelter and be safe from all the bad things in the world, from natural disasters to bad people. If you live in a house, it doesn’t mean it’s a home, a house is a place where you can live and be comfortable if you’re not comfortable then that house is not a home. A home doesn't have to be a house, it can be a building, an apartment and much more. I know If I ever have a bad day in school or anywhere for that matter, I can always count on one thing, my home. That’s what home means to me.
