What Home Means to Me

Home, a four letter word that I can talk for hours about. Let's get one thing clear before we start, home isn’t a place, it’s people. And if you don't understand what I mean, here's an example: Home is a place where you grow up, you learn to talk, say your first word, learn to walk, And so many other things. Even if you're not in the place where it happened anymore, You will always have your home and those memories in your heart. My home isn't a place, my home is my family, my sisters, mom, dad, and my dog. Home is where I can cry and laugh and even hurt, I can be myself in my home. Home is a place I know I can always go. If I feel sad or stressed I can just go home. Yes, if I move from my childhood house I would be sad, but I would still have my home. Houses come and go But your home is forever.
