MEANING OF HOME

Many people in the world don’t have a home I do, you do, many people do I have a garden, with a cute garden gnome But some homeless are suffering from the flu. Home isn’t just a house, it’s a feeling, a great feeling Some people don’t even have a house, they’re having trouble dealing My house is my best friend, my defender. This feeling of joy and happiness will never surrender It’s the place I think, where I hope for wonderful things Sure I make a change and pull a few strings In my house, we help each other with anything My house is where I let out every single feeling. I cry I laugh I scream Building houses, we build our community We are one Canadian unity My home is cozy My home is beautiful My home is lovely My home is delightful This small, strong word is a feeling, with four letters h-o-m-e, gives me my best life. I’m very grateful to have a wonderful home like mine. Just remember, a home isn’t a house. I hope this will raise awareness for someone experiencing homelessness
