Why I’m blessed to have a home!

We used to live in a tiny apartment, With only one bedroom. With no space to run around or to bound. And then one day, a friend came And said “Why don't you live in a habitat house, So the kids can have space to play and to run around!" So that is how we found our dream house. With all the place we need to play and stay, There was even a small playground outside, With a small ride to play on! I am blessed to have a home! Home is where I live and stay. It helps me rock my days. I have fun and play with my stuffy's everyday. In my bed, I melt my dread away. I am blessed to have a home! My house does not have a garden like the others, It's still the best home for me! So my family does not have to be the richest to have a home. So I am blessed to have a home! This is why I am grateful to Habitat Even so it wouldn't change a bit to have a new fit. But it would change a ton to have no shelter. So I am blessed to have a home! So that is why I wrote this poem, because without habitat, we would have no home. So I am blessed to have a home! Now I have my own room where my bed is, And without the living room it would be a living tomb I would be ruined without the roof because that is proof that … POOF! .... I am out of there! So I am blessed to have a home! I could go a million years talking about this house, but this poem has a limit, So thank you for giving me a chance to live in this house and I also thank you with my heart and my art. I am blessed to have a home!
