Home...

Home. Home can mean many things from the rudimentary stick structures of our ancestors to the great palaces of ancient Egypt. Home means much more than what it says in the dictionary. Home is a place to return to. A place that is safe. Where there is peace. A place where you go to be loved. A place where there is family. Thankfully I don't know what it's like to be without a home. I hope I never do. I understand that it's rough. I believe everyone should have a home. On the other hand, a home is more than a house. a home is a safe place, regardless of the type or shape of structure. Having a house is also important because it gives a foundation on which you can contribute to and take pride in. Like most kids, I find cleaning and maintaining our home a bit tiresome, but it gives me pride. THIS IS WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME.
