What Home Means to Me

What does a home mean to you? A home is not a house. A house is just a building that you live in. I think that home is a special place for people. For me, a home means a lot of things. First, I think home is a place where your family is, like your mom(s) and/or dad(s) and your brother(s) and/or sister(s). And you can always talk to them if something is wrong. Second, I think home is a place where you can feel whatever emotion or feeling you want. Playing with your pet can make you feel happy. Losing a loved one can make you feel sad. And if your sibling annoys you, that can make you feel angry. And I don’t think anyone likes being angry. Third, I think a home is a place where you can relax after a long day of school. You can stay in your room, away from your annoying sibling, and just have some me time. So therefore, a home means a lot of things to me. Hopefully we can end homelessness someday.
