Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Home means love, laughter and family time. Home is not just four brick walls and a roof, there’s more on the inside. The first reason home is special to me is because of family time. When I think of home, I think of playing games and going for walks. When we play games, we play sleeping queens and Sequence. When me and my family watch movies, we watch Star Wars, Sound of Music, Sister Act and Home Alone. When I watch movies or play games that makes me feel so good no matter where I am, as long as I’m with my family It always feels like I’m at home. Home also means love. My family shows each other love by giving hugs and saying “ I love you.” The time I feel most loved at home is when I’m getting tucked in. My moms give me kisses. This makes me feel incredible and loved and happy inside. Without love my home would be sad, but with love, it makes the home feel special place. The final reason home is a special place is because of the laughter. In a home we love to laugh! Whenever my mom tickles me, I laugh so hard, and my pets used to make me laugh! Whenever my pets would run fast we would call them the zoomies. Also my second mom Jenna always tries to cheer me and my sister up, she is so funny! A home without laughter would not be very fun but a home with laughter brings joy! Home is a place where I can be safe and loved. I am so thankful for my family and home.
