Home for the Heart

Home is where I don’t feel alone. Home is where I have grown. Home is where memories are born. Home is where I relax after a long day. Home is where I just want to stay. Home is where I get excited. Home is where I feel delighted. Home is where I sleep and don’t make a peep. At home I’m carefree. Home is where kindness and love are free. Home is where I hang my art and eat a pop tart. Home is where there is food on the table so that we can remain stable. Home is where positivity lives. It is a place where we learn to forgive. Home is where I do my chores. Home is where I go outdoors. Home is where we are fortunate to rest our head A place to sleep in a nice warm bed. Home is where we have self-control without often being told. My home may be gray, but it is very colourful inside. It is where I feel pride. I love my home and it loves me too.
