A Home is not Just a House

When I think about not having a home, I get feelings of sadness, fear, loneliness and cold. A home does not just protect you from bad weather, it protects you from those feelings. Also, a home can hold lots of feelings like joy, warmth, happiness, and coziness. It is a place where you can rest and feel safe. It does not matter how big or small it is, you can always think of it as home. A home is where I do not have to worry and I can play, watch movies or read with my family. A home is where my pets can be safe from harm and be happy. For me, having electronics or a TV isn’t what makes it a home, it’s having my family and pets safe and all together. I wish everyone understood the TRUE meaning of home, then they would know that everyone deserves to have a home to call their own.
