My Meaning of Home

In North America more than 553 000 people are homeless. That means 17% percent of Canadians can't say they have a home. Just imagine all those cold freezing nights on the streets that these people have to sit through. I hope I can change your opinion when you decide not to spare a dollar or two. Did you know that 20 percent of kids in Canada are homeless. And 200 000 thousand adults are homeless as of 2005. Imagine that the rest of canada are able to say they have a home but the homeless they have to strive to even get dinner that's why we should all be thankful for what we have. You're able to come home after a cold day and sit down on your sofa and sip on a hot chocolate and watch tv. Overall I think everyone knows they need a home where they can stay warm, stay dry and a bed to sleep on. This is my meaning of home.
