Home is Always Better with A Sister

My wonderful family so loving and kind, Me and my sister can always connect and combine. In springtime when I'm outside my cheeks get so warm and rosy, But in my home, I am so comfortable and cozy! Because my sister is always there to make sure I'm protected, When I'm with her I never feel rejected. In the summertime we can chill with a popsicle in my hand, While walking along the beach and feeling the tiny grains of sand. Or we can relax on a floaty, and drift away from a problem, As we catch a glimpse of the flowers on the shore starting to blossom. In the cozy autumn we like looking at the many colours of the fall trees, I'm glad we are together and that there are no bees! The lovely leaves slowly fall to the ground like my problem in my head, When we finally go inside, I’m so tired from the day that its straight to bed. In the winter we love to feel the crisp winter air in our face, When we ride our snowmobiles, we are simply at peace. Me and my sister together sled down a hill with no fear, So beautiful in the distance when I see a glimpse of a wondering deer. One unique thing I have at home is a drape over my bed, When we are in it I feel like I have a can just go ahead, And figure out solutions to any difficult problems, And whatever else is challenging me. It is important that I have my very own calming space, Where I can relax, read and write in a safe place. I know I am so lucky that we have a place to call home, Because I know some people don’t have one of their own. Homeless people don’t always have a place to call home, It makes me so sad to think they are so alone. My wonderful family so loving and kind, Me and my sister can always connect and combine.
