What Home Means To Me

Some people say there is no difference between a house and a home. But there is. You know you are in a home by the amount of love you find inside. A house is just a place. A house is nothing until you and your loved ones move in. That's when it becomes a home. Home is always a place to feel safe. A place where you don’t have to worry about what the people in your home think of you, because they love you for who you are. Everybody there is always rooting for you - whether it's your mom, dad, friend, or even your cat, they love you for you. Not for the you that you want to be, but for who you actually are. You have to remember that they are always on your side. Home is an amazing place. The amount of love and joy you find in a home is outstanding. You will never find as much love in your home somewhere else. Sharing a room with your sister, cooking with your brother - these are simple things that we all take for granted. Some people might not have a room to share or a kitchen to cook in. Or even a home to live in. Nobody did anything so bad that they don’t deserve a home. Everybody needs a home. Someplace to call yours. It doesn’t matter if it's a huge mansion or a small cottage, everybody should have a home!
