What is a home?

To me, like many others have already said, a home is a special place. All those people who wrote the poems and paragraphs about what Home means to them are so very true. So I’d like to say, Home is a special place for people all over the world. Your Home won’t always be the happiest place. The reason I say this is because sometimes you might have a love and hate relationship with the people inside and outside of your Home. But when you, or the other person, decide to forgive then that one place that you thought you never wanted to go back to becomes your Home again and you’ll love it even more. I used to close my eyes and daydream about what I wanted: the “Perfect Home” vs ‘ Real Home.’ For some reason the “Perfect Home” always won. That was because back then I didn’t really quite understand: What really was a Home? Until I started reading. Now I know why the things around me are my Home. My mom, my dad... even my annoying two brothers: they’re the things that make everything around me an actual Home. A place I am happy to be in. A place where I feel safe. I do get mad at my siblings a lot, for silly reasons, and we end up forgiving each other and have fun instead. My dad goes to work for my family. And my mom cares for each and every single person that enters the place. You have memories that come into your mind when you’re at home. It doesn’t matter if the memory was good or bad, it’s still something you will remember! That is a home, a place where memories are made with your family.
