What Home Means To Me

Hi, my name is Annika Kaarls. I am 11 years old and to me, home is a safe place, a sanctuary. It helps me relax and escape. It brings me happiness and joy. It is where I can be myself. I think it is important to have a proper home along with a loving family. If I could wish everyone in the world a home, I would. But unfortunately I can’t. I am only telling you this, I have never told another soul. Home is a very important thing for everyone and it hurts to see people on the street, it really does. My wish is to see every child with a home and a family. I don’t know if you do this but, if I win or get runners up, can you please donate at least a quarter of the money to children without a home? Thanks.
