Home Means Love

Home to me means love, family and comfort. My home makes me feel like I am wrapped in a cozy, fuzzy, warm blanket. It is like a big warm hug everytime I walk in the door and see my family. Some people might walk into my house and think it’s chaotic, it’s usually loud, and my little brother Kase is always running around or making messes. Kase seems to never lose his energy, but that’s a part of what makes my house my home. My room is cozy and when I am in there I feel comfortable, because I am surrounded by all the things I love. When I walk in the door or when I come downstairs from my room I feel so much love from my little brother Kase. He always runs to me with his arms open and gives me a big hug and yells my name. Kase always wants my attention, he is always excited to see me and wants me to play with him and that makes me very happy and leaves me feeling loved. My mom is always there for me when I need her, she always tells me she loves me when we leave each other’s side, end a phone call, say goodnight or just because. My mom makes me feel safe and comfortable. My dogs make me feel happy when I see them and when I go outside they always bark to get my attention, that makes me happy. My nana is another big part of what makes my house a comforting place to be. My nana stays with us a lot when my mom goes to work. My nana has always been there for me since I was first born. When I see my nana in the morning’s when I get up or before I go to bed at night that makes me feel happy. To me home is not about material things like toys it’s more about the love I feel from my family, how comfortable I am when I am at home, and how safe I feel.
