What Home Means To Me

Home. A place where you can feel loved and safe. A place where you know you won't be judged or harassed or accused of something you didn't do because the people that share one with you trust you. But that isn't quite the truth, now is it? The families in homes fight. They argue, and hurt each other, and judge one another. Sometimes people tend to hide the truth because they don't like their family. Not everyone likes their family. But for some odd reason, people always tend to focus on the negatives of their home life. Most of them don't even realize that there are charities like this that help people that don't have the things they do. 'What home means to you' is a difficult question, because a home is not a house. A home is not a place where you can sleep, eat, and drink in peace. It is not a thing, nor should it be taken granted for. A home is people. A house is just walls and a roof that were made to protect your true home. Your family, and the love provided from them. As a girl with three sisters, trust me. Even though they're always rough with me, and call me names, I know they love me. Even though they never say it. Okay, all I'm trying to say is that you should be grateful for you family. That's all.
