What Does Home Really Mean?

What does home mean to you? Does it mean a place that’s just a few walls and a roof? Or does it mean more than that? It probably just seems like a home to you but others would fight in a war to even have a few walls and a roof to call their home. A home isn’t just a few walls, it’s a place to be comfortable and feel happy and welcomed. What if you didn’t have a home? Would you think of a home in a different way? Would you think of it as something too many people take for granted? There are so many different people, and because of this, some people won't employ people from different backgrounds. The people with different backgrounds that didn't get employed can’t find another job because they don’t specialize in those things. Therefore they don’t have any money to afford a house, food or water. Home isn’t just some walls. There are so many reasons why I am so lucky to have a home, it isn’t just a place that you get for “fun” it’s what you have to work for, but it’s all worth it in the end because you get to say and do whatever you want and not have the worry of feeling judged! It is not something that comes in the “welcome to earth” package. You should always be grateful for what you have because some people might not have the option to have it.
