What Does Home Mean to Me?

Home means feeling safe and being protected. Home is a place where my mom makes delicious amounts of food at dinner time. Home is playing games as a family and having a really good time. Home is being grateful that I have a roof over my head and not having to live on the streets. Home is having cute little pets to play with and keep them safe. Home is having my family to help me with my homework. In my opinion everyone should have a home, even if they have made some bad choices in the past, it does not matter as everyone deserves to have a second chance. After learning about Habitat for Humanity I will never take my home for granted, and you shouldn’t either. I hope one day everyone gets to experience the feeling of having a safe home.
