What Home means to me

Home is a place where people feel safe. Where no one judges you by your gender or race. Home is a place that is special to me where I can be with my family. With my Dad and my Mom and my sisters too, this is the place I’ve grown up in, other people in their homes too. But, it’s sad to say some people don’t have this privilege today. Some people don’t have a home today. Where they have to live in conditions like snow, hail, or rain where it is cold every day. Where sometimes they are alone all on their own. Where sometimes they don’t have a place they have grown. Foundations like Habitat for Humanity can help make a change. For people who don’t have a home that live in the cold and the rain. If we work together, we can help people in need. So they have the thing that every person needs. I am very grateful to have a roof over my head. And I am grateful that I have my very own bed. Home is a place that is special to many. Where you can be with your family.
