This Is Home
What is a home? Is it the building we live in, grow in and learn in? Is it the stuff inside this building that brings delight? No. That is a home. A home is not a place or a thing, it is where you feel loved. A place you feel you belong. Like when your brother holds you tight, or your mother says goodnight, to the evenings spent with your father by the firelight, a home is what everyone should have. You can have feelings inside this place. Houses can be called homes, for memories can be made and shared throughout the halls. This home is something we all need. A place to come home to in the rain, to laugh in when you feel sad, and where the walls come alive, and you finally realize this is the place you belong. Safe, loved, cherished, this is what a home is.
