What Home is to Me

Home is a place where I can keep warm, stay safe and watch a movie with my family. It's a place where I don't have to worry about anything bad happening. It's a place where you can laugh with your friends and family while having your favourite treat. But it's sad that some people have to live in darkness and not feel cozy at night, but I think everyone should feel safe and loved. It's where you open the door and everyone is happy to see you. A house is a place with four walls a home is a house with lots of love, kindness and caring people. You can build, cook and watch your favourite shows with your family all day long. As you pull up onto the driveway you notice someone or something is always happy your home. You and your family are the heart of the home. A family is what makes a house a home. It doesn't matter if your home is new or old. Anywhere you stay or live and there is family, you are now in a safe, loving home. As I open the door I smell amazing food and see my family, I smile and say “I'm home!”. Remember, a home is what you make it.
