the meaning of home

Home? Home has different meanings. Is home the roof over your head, or is it the things you're with, or is it where you are. Truth be told, it is all of those things. Like if you have pictures of family or friends they remind you of happiness and that someone cares about you. But it's also a place where you can go to have fun, a place to go when you're feeling down, a place to go when your done school but most of all it's where you are home can be anywhere as long as you feel happy,loved,safe and most of the times comfortable. Home is the people that you spend time with and the people that you love and care about and the people that care about you too. People who have no home sometimes feel at home and sometimes they don’t, sometimes they may have a home but it doesn't feel like a home because it is not with people that love them like: my uncle does not like me much but my grandad does like me so it feels like another home. Some homeless people feel more at home on the streets then at a shelter because they might have people that gives them food like apples,oranges and more they may feel more at home on the streets because people let them stay in there home or let them be in a hotel and pay for it or sometimes it's they get more kindness on the street than in the shelter if went from my home and i found somewhere that i am being treated kindly and people make me happy that could a home even if its temporary. A home does not have to be forever it can be temporary. When me and my friend have sleepovers it's my home because I am being treated nicely and I am happy. Home could be a thought or a place that you feel peace like in the forest or in an area like when you look at the river,sometimes home is when your parents stop arguing.
