For walls and a roof is more..

Four walls and a roof is more... Wood chips. Paint peels. A birch tree. Too old to grow leaves. A house. Simply just four walls and a roof. Nothing special to it, just an ordinary structure. Others look at this old, run down, shack thinking.. “Who would buy this?” Then my family moves into the house. My cat howls, my mom yells, noise, noise and more noise. That’s what this is to others. But not to my family. We cherish memories in these aged walls and roof. It may be a derelict house that’s one hundred years old but to me, this home is a special safe place where joy is warming. In the kitchen I watch the steam evading from a pot of buttery pasta like lava leaving a volcano. There’s always something going on under this roof. From my playful and lazy cats who keep a grin on my face, to my cosy bed where I sleep by my brother who consistently keeps me company. I have a kind and loving dad who always supports me when I’m down. All the love spread around this home. I’m so lucky to live in this home. I’m always with my family and although sometimes I don’t have space to breathe, I still don’t want it to change. I adore my home the way it is and a couple of stumbles can’t change my opinion.
