The Meaning of Home

Have you ever thought about what home means to you? Well here is what it means to me. What makes a house a home for me is, Memories because every Christmas my grandparents come to our house to celebrate the holiday season and the fact that we are spending time with family feels really special to me. Another thing is family because if I didn’t have family I would definitely not be calling my house a home and family means alot to me in my life. Lastly is feeling comfortable because it has always been my biggest fear of getting robbed but in the neighbourhood I live in it is really peaceful so I hope I never have to worry about that kind of thing. Things that are important to me in my home is to start off with my couch because it is where my family and I watch a bunch of fun movies or series on Netflix together. Next is my room because I have my own little nook behind my door and it feels really homie. Lastly is my pool because when my friends and I are out biking we can come to my house and go swimming when we are starting to get hot and then go back out and do everything over again. Why I think everyone deserves a home is because a home is where you rest. A home is where you make memories a home is a home. Well that’s what home means to me so think hard about what home means to you. Your turn!
