Everyone Deserves a Home
As I walk through Toronto, I see people sitting on the
sidewalk shivering with nothing,
no home, no food,
nothing.
That’s not right
I know that a person without a home and a place to stay is
just wrong
But it is reality, and sometimes reality can be rough to
live in.
Sometimes you just want to give up,
but don’t,
because if you are kind to others, the world will reward you.
No one should live in a small cardboard box,
everyone should have a home to live in
I know one thing and that is that a home isn’t a place
with a roof and some walls, but it needs memories that are flowing down the
halls
Your home should be a place where you can laugh
and cry and talk and no one will judge you
When you walk
through the door, your home should give you a nice warm
hug and welcome you in
Your home should make you warm and happy, not cold and
Sad,
We can do better,
Let’s fix this reality.
