Home to Me

The meaning of home to me is being safe and having a family that loves you. Home doesn't have to be just one place and it doesn't have to be your house. Home is a place where you feel safe and loved by family or friends. All that matters is that you are loved by someone. Home is a place where you feel comfortable and you can be yourself. It should be a place you can embrace all your quirks and flaws and not be embarrassed, teased or laughed at. The difference between a house and a home is that you can see and touch a house but home is something you feel and can’t see. Home isn't just walls, bricks and furniture it is a place where you feel comfortable. Home can be your grandparents house it could be the country you live in or the city/town you live in. For me it's my house because of my family and my dog. My dog is so funny he loves to chase his tail, he loves to play with his squeaky toys too and whenever we have supper he always sits beside the table and waits for food. My dog makes me so happy and he makes me feel at home. That is the meaning of home to me.
