Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me, is many things. It is a place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. Home means a secure, cheerful place where you are respected. Home means an enjoyable, happy place where you can live, laugh and learn. It is where you grow up. A home is a privilege to have because there are people who don't have a home. You can make lots of memories in a home as you grow up. In some countries there are over three homeless people dying each day because they don't have a home. The meaning of home is sleeping in a warm bed, eating good food all the time, having hot showers, having clothes, being able to watch tv, and even being able to have pets. Having a home is how you survive because of all the things in a home that you need. It’s also good to be able to hang out with friends in your home and be able to use electronics and even do sports. Home is a place that you can feel safe in. A home is somewhere that you have to live and grow up in until you move out. Home is a place where you can spend time with your family and do fun things while you live there. It’s a place to make memories. A home gives people a place to care about the people that mean the most to them. Home is culture, religion, the place where you live, friends, relatives, neighbors, personal objects and environment. It’s a place where you feel like you belong. A home doesn’t look the same for all the people in the world, but what is the same in all cultures, is that home means more than a house where you live. Home means love, family, comfort, security, and belonging. Home is a place where you and your family can be secure, have all you need, and share your sadness and happiness; somewhere you can help each other as a family. It does not matter how big or small. By having a home you can do so many things with your family and friends. A home is any place where you are comfortable, and be yourself. A home is a place where you just feed off of positive energy and feel free. It does not matter if your home is in an apartment, in a mansion, or anywhere else. Your home is something you will always remember when you're older. The most important meaning of home to me, is that home is the place I feel loved.
