What does home mean to him

Once there was a boy named Carlos he really loved his home and he would even talk to it and call it Pumpkin. Home meant a lot to him, he would always jump up and down when he was coming up the street to his house but he didn’t have ANYONE to come over. If something were to come on his lawn he would flip but he wasn’t always this angry that’s for later in the story. Home, to Carlos, was a place where he could relax and not stress about work. Home to him was a safe place to see after a bad day, a place where you feel like you can actually do stuff without someone telling you no. Without telling you what to eat or what to wear. I think it’s time I tell you why he calls the house Pumpkin. But Pumpkin wasn’t a house, she was a girl used for a circus toy in a cage. Then Carlos found her one day and said “Hey wanna be free” she said “Yes!” Then they were a happy couple and they built a house. One day she died and the house was all Carlos could remember her for. But Carlos felt like it was time for a change, “I think it’s time to let you go pumpkin..that’s what home means to me.” He broke all of the house down and let the workers do the rest. He goes to work and stays in a hotel.. 4 months later he bought a new house and he yelled “This is what home means to me,starting a new life!” If you wanna start fresh, go for it, you're not alone!
